Elden Ring Footage Leaks Online and Showcases The Hauntingly Beautiful World of the Soulslike

Elden Ring is an upcoming open-world action RPG title from the creators of Dark Souls, and footage of the game has leaked online, and it showcases the beautiful yet terrifying world of souls. The thirty-second long video is making the rounds on multiple social media platforms and offers an incredible glimpse of the world of Elden Ring. It offers a better look at the character’s movement and how the main character handles jumping as well.

Jeff Grubb (industry insider) shared this leaked footage on his official Twitter handle and said that the footage was from Xbox One. Above all, Gene Park (Games journalist) also reshared Jeff Grubb’s tweet, adding, “This is not footage the press saw a few months ago“. This makes it clear that the footage didn’t come about during Gamescom 2021, but it’s still not completely clear exactly how recent the footage is.

The leaked clip of Elden Ring online gives some glimpses of Dark Soul

The leaked clip doesn’t really show much of the game or the gameplay, but it shows a bit how the game will run outside the official trailer. The viral clip is features hilltop near a stunning castle. Well, we can say that a broken castle with a clear look at the environment. The main character is jumping to the hillcrest, thanks to the dedicated jumping button, causing a pair of eagles to light slightly into the sky.

It certainly looks more and more like Dark Soul with all that long cloak, armor, helm, and swords. The main character wields an enormous sword in one hand and a shield to protect himself with in another. And if that isn’t Dark Souls from top to bottom, what is?

Many versions of the leaked footage have been taken down already, but you can still find it on Twitter or even on Reddit. Also, the original source of the video has not been identified yet.
