There’s no doubt that Elden Ring is currently the most anticipated game of the year. The FromSoftware title just proved it once again as it reached the number one spot on Steam’s wishlist. Hidetaka Miyazaki’s ambitious project dethroned another highly awaited game, Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

But Elden Ring edging past Dying Light 2 is surely no big surprise since it was obvious to happen. And the fantasy RPG is almost here!
Elden Ring is on top of Steam’s 2022 wishlist chart
Speaking of the awaited games of the year, then the most notable contenders are definitely Dying Light 2, Starfield, and Elden Ring. Santa Monica’s God of War: Ragnarok is also there but it wasn’t present in Steam’s wishlist. Simply because the title will be a PlayStation exclusive. However, its predecessor, 2018’s God of War, did make it to the top wishlisted games.

Furthermore, Fntastic’s The Day Before, which was revealed last year, is also present in the wishlist. It’s shocking to see it among the ten most awaited titles because its studio is not highly popular. In fact, The Day Before will be Fntastic’s first major project to date.
