Everyone has a dream to meet and greet their favorite role model and if they get to hug them, it becomes the cherry on the cake. Likewise, YouTuber Fidias has had a dream, a goal rather, to hug his favorite person in the world which happens to be Twitter CEO Elon Musk. And he finally got to encounter in his life a ‘dream come true’ moment.

Cypriot YouTuber Fidias has the fashion of making videos wherein he is seen doing over-the-top stunts. “I Lived 7 Days In The Airport For Free” and “I Survived 7 Days Alone In A Dangerous Forest” are the genre of videos that he does. And he had a video titled “I Hugged The World’s Top 100 Celebrities” which had a last piece remaining which was of hugging Elon Musk.

On his quest to hug the world’s top 100 celebrities, Fidias did the impossible but his meeting with Musk wasn’t a sweet piece of cake. The YouTuber spent days outside the headquarters of SpaceX and Twitter headquarters. He also got a warning from Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, after his followers spammed her on social media to ask his son to hug him.

Nonetheless, he apologized for it happening and continued on this quest of his. Things started stirring up when Musk was persuaded by some kids while he attended the 2023 FIFA World Cup. There, Musk agreed to meet the YouTuber after the kids cheered for it to happen. And the moment finally arrived.

As Musk agreed to hug Fidias, the former readied himself to stay outside Twitter headquarters. He also kept getting updates from Musk’s bodyguards and had even once missed the chance of hugging him earlier. Then came Christmas, and New Year, and the meeting kept getting delayed but he and his family were nothing but stoked by the possibility of it happening.

Judging Musk’s busy schedule, Fidias understood that the hug could take some time and he kept updating his audience through snippets. Luckily, the day came when Fidias and Musk finally hugged. And the quest of the YouTuber marvelously ended on National Hugging Day as well.

Fidias tweeted, “We are definitely living in a simulation. @elonmusk ! Happy National Hugging Day everyone.” As this hit the internet, fans poured their celebratory notes into the tweet.
