A few days ago, the Minecraft community faced tragic news about the popular creator, Technoblade, passing away. Unfortunately, the young creator died at the age of 23 after fighting a year-long battle with cancer. Technoblade had over 12 million subscribers on his main channel. He was famous for his live streams and his involvement in the Dream SMP.

Indeed, it’s sad news for the gaming community, and many streamers have also paid tribute to Techno. Streamers such as Pokimane, Dream, Ludwig, Jacksepticeye, and many others went on Twitter to share their beautiful memories with the creator. Furthermore, the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, also paid his tribute to the young creator.

Gaming community shears tears on Technoblade losing battle against cancer

Technoblade, whose real name was Alex, has an enormous fanbase thanks to his Minecraft content. Even when Alex was getting diagnosed with cancer, he used to focus more on his Minecraft content and gameplay. Indeed, the young creator has a huge influence on the community and his passing away news was not easy to handle for anyone.

After this tragic news went online, many celebrities paid tribute to the young creator. The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, returned to Twitter after a break of over a week to tweet about the death of YouTuber Technoblade.

Furthermore, the Minecraft franchise itself announced it was speechless after hearing the news and that Techno was an important part of the community.

Other than that, many popular streamers had also paid their tribute to the young creator. Dream opened up about how heartbroken he was after hearing about Techno’s death.

Thomas Simons, better known as TommyInnit, another popular creator, also shared his memories and journey from being a fan to an actual friend with Techno.

Apart from Minecraft creators, many other streamers such as Ludwig, Pokimane, and Jacksepticeye went to Twitter to pay their tribute to the creator.

Techno uploads the last video in memory of his fan on YouTube

Even while struggling with cancer, Techno never forget his fan and was always grateful to them. A new video titled ‘so long nerds’ was uploaded on Technoblade’s YouTube account on Thursday. However, the video didn’t include Techno, but featured his father who confirmed his real name was Alex.

In the video, Alex’s father reads a long letter from Techno to his fans and mentions that he wrote the letter eight hours before passing away. At the start, Techno mentioned, “Hello, everyone. Technoblade here. If you are watching this, I am dead.”

“Thank you all for supporting my content over the years,” his father said on the YouTuber’s behalf. “I had another hundred lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again every single time as those were the happiest years of my life.”

Indeed, Techno was always self-deprecating and wanted no personal fame. Even after his content skyrocketed on YouTube, he focused on entertaining his fans in more ways than gaining more fame.
