After Elon Musk acquired Twitter, he implemented massive changes to the platform. The most notable change is its rebranding to X. Along with the name change, he also plans on adding more features to the platform. Musk’s plans for the latest feature of the micro-blogging platform have taken fans by surprise.

While the initial news came in just a month ago, X announced a live-stream feature, and Elon Musk is already set to test it out. Elon already ran a test stream of the service with a few X executives and even curled a 45-pound weight in the stream. Although this doesn’t come as a surprise, the billionaire planned to run a thorough test of the service. While he announced this on X, he shocked fans by announcing that the test would be done while Speedrunning a game.

Diablo 4 Speedrun by Elon Musk

Elon Musk received many comments to test out the new feature by playing a video game. So Musk announced that he would speedrun a Tier 99 Nightmare dungeon on Diablo 4 on September 27th, 11 pm CT. In the post Elon added “By “speedrun”, I mean complete fairly quickly for an amateur. Please keep expectations low.” Elon, known for his multiple ventures like SpaceX, Tesla, and now X, also enjoys video games in his limited spare time, which led to this challenge.

However, after announcing this on X, Elon updated his fans and mentioned that the stream would be delayed till 1 AM CT. A few hours later mentioned that the stream wouldn’t be possible as he was working. He added in the post that the stream had been postponed to the next day.

With the stream in just a few hours, fans are excited to see how Elon will fare at Diablo 4. This is not the first stream on the platform by Musk. There have been other instances where Elon has surprised his fans on a live stream before.

Elon Musk has used X for tech experiments before. In the past, he live-streamed the test drive of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving software on the platform, providing fans with a firsthand look at Tesla’s advanced technology.

He told everyone that the feature was in the works. Livestreaming is just one of the many upcoming features of the platform as Elons plans to make this the “Everything” platform.
