Technology has become so advanced that fans now don’t need to drive for hours to visit concerts of their beloved celebrities. That becomes, even more, truer when celebrities like Snoop Dogg and Eminem perform during the MTV VMA awards.

This was a very special video because of how fans were able to witness both the legends do a concert not in just their avatars but also in their NFT ones. But unfortunately, most fans thought that the concert was “terrible”.

Eminem and Snoop Dogg perform in a virtual NFT concert

NFTs are a big part of the virtual community, as they are not just expensive but also a piece of art in themselves. Although some readers might find it hard to accept, the fact that NFTs are supposedly the future of art, if not currency, is not an understatement.

Even after spending millions on an NFT concert, if it doesn’t get a good response from fans, then it tells us that the community still needs to improve in many cases. That was the same when Snoop Dogg and Eminem performed for fans in their BoredApe NFT avatars. But failed to impress fans due to technical faults and unfinished rendering.

Notably, many fans dragged the clip to Twitter to share the clips from the concerts with others. And the response from fans were as expected.

How do fans feel about the NFT concert at MTV VMA Awards?

“This is f***ing terrible,” a fan responded on the clip while showing his concerns for all the NFT shows that might happen.

The reason why there are so many negative things said about the concert is not because of the artists, since the artists were legendary and the music they sang was enough for fans to enjoy, but instead the horrible graphics and transitions.

The video looked unfinished and only NFT-focused. It felt like the makers didn’t pay any attention to the artists themselves, but instead only had rainbow colors in mind.

Although it can be called artistic freedom, makers should definitely keep the feedback in their loops to make something better next time and actually show the passion that they have within themselves for video making and art.
