Fortnite has come up with endless collaborations since its initial debut five years ago. Most of them have impressed the majority of the fans of the battle royale. Now the latest rumor has teased another collaboration for the online multiplayer.

Going by what a trusted insider has revealed on social media, Fortnite might soon roll out a brand new Marvel collaboration. By now, the developing team has already released a number of crossovers featuring different Marvel characters. And since this is the month of a new MCU movie, in Thor Love and Thunder, things might be lining up for something big, according to the insider.

But that’s not what most of the fans are thinking, however, regarding this rumor.

Fortnite fans not sure of a Thor collaboration as the rumor is not convincing enough

Reputed scooper Shiina recently posted a tweet on their account. They tried to speculate that it may be related to an upcoming collaboration featuring MCU’s latest Thor installment.

This speculation comes from an Instagram post that Epic Games’ COO Donald Mustard shared. That post had an image depicting fireworks in the sky with orange, red, and blue colors. If you compare it with the posters of Thor Love and Thunder revealed so far, then the movie has also emphasized a lot on these color patterns.

Now what Shiina thinks is that Epic Games’ COO may have just teased a new crossover in Fortnite, possibly based on the Thor film.

“This might be the biggest stretch ever, but *EVERYTHING* Donald posts is a teaser, and the timing fits VERY good,” the scooper wrote.

Meanwhile, fans don’t think so at all. In fact, some of them believe that the scooper might be overstretching their theory. That’s because the color scheme cannot be exclusively attached to just Thor Love and Thunder. It may be the case that it might be related to something else as well.

On the other hand, some Fortnite lovers are just excited and believe that this rumor is indeed true. The reason for that being the game’s past collaborations with Marvel, especially this year.

Fortnite is now available on all the supported platforms. Players can have it on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC. As for Thor Love and Thunder, the movie comes out this Friday worldwide in theaters.
