MrBeast is currently the biggest independent creator on the YouTube platform. He is known for his larger-than-life videos and for throwing absurd amounts of money at random people. The aspect of money never seems to affect MrBeast. He can be seen spending huge sums for wacky reasons. 

The absurdity of his spending reached a new level of crazy when he spend a whole million dollars just to mess with another YouTuber. This YouTuber is also a big name on the platform, with millions of subscribers. But after MrBeast’s shenanigans, he has to live with the fact that the most viewed video on his channel was not made by him but MrBeast.

Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, has over 100 million subscribers on YouTube and billions of total channel views. There are estimates that he makes around 800 million with his main channel alone. But that is not his only avenue, as MrBeast has multiple channels on the platform and a successful fast food retail joint, and also his very own chocolate company.

So, having such a massive enterprise, it is obvious money does not bother Jimmy at all. He has a very sustained ecosystem that generates more revenue than he spends or invests. That is why MrBeast is always up for a show, even if it comes at a huge price tag. 

MrBeast pulled a million-dollar troll on his YouTuber Buddy 

On July 22, MrBeast recorded a video where two of his subscribers raced through crazy obstacles to win a $100,000 cash prize. Shooting the entire video cost him around $1 million. But the end result wasn’t up to the standards of the MrBeast channel. So instead of just scrapping the video, Jimmy devised a clever plan.

Jimmy approached his fellow content creator and YouTuber Ludwig to post this video on his channel if he wants. Ludwig took the chance, thinking of it as a great opportunity to increase traffic and attract more subscribers to his channel. But he didn’t think that the video will be a little more than he could handle.
