Sonic Superstars takes players back to the classic version of the game

Despite being the newest addition to the iconic series, this game’s platformer mechanics takes players back to the classic Sonic the Hedgehog. You just have to jump around in the colorful world of Sonic Superstars in the boots of Sonic to defeat the evil mind of Dr. Robotnik and jump on the enemies’ heads to turn them into small creatures.

When Sonic and his friends get defeated, they lose coin-like rings and fall off the screen. You can expect prolonged combat with cartoonish explosions while fighting bosses. Players are hoping to be able to play in a “drop-in and drop-out” 4-player local co-op as well as in a PVP mini-games for 8 players online mode.

The announcement of the ESRB rating has made Sonic Superstars accessible to all. As there is no official confirmation on the release date, excitement is piling up day by day.

Let us know how you are planning to put an end to Dr. Robotnik’s mischiefs in the captivating world of mystical Northstar Islands.
