After spending hours, Joel finds Ellie on an abandoned farm, where the two share a personal anecdote. It feels like Ellie is not happy with the way Joel treats her and feels like he pushes her away every time. But that does not seem to be the case, as Joel feels differently.

Looking at this, Ellie opens up to him, talking about how lonely and scared she feels while sliding in information about Sarah. She claims to know of her and that she could never be like her. Listening to it, Joel gets furious and exclaims that she’s ‘not his daughter’ and won’t understand what losing people means.

This leads Ellie to make Joel understand, “Everyone I have ever cared for has either died or left me.” And that she never liked him treating her this way. But Joel shuts the conversation, claiming Tommy knows better about the area and that he trusted him enough.

While the moment continues to savor, Tommy walks in to inform the two protagonists. The game continues, and players continue to fight and reach the end.

So, if you’re someone who’s played the game, you surely took a trip down memory lane. And for the ones who haven’t you will know what is coming your way!
