Everything That Could Have Made Metroid Prime Remastered Even Better

Metroid Prime Remastered launched for the Nintendo Switch a while ago, and by now it’s pretty common knowledge that this game is just brilliant. It’s the best version of the classic game every Nintendo owner fell in love with.

But every game, no matter how perfect, has something everyone wishes was different. And the amount of work that the developers put into this one makes people wish there were a few things that they had changed from the classic.

Changes that could have made Metroid Prime Remastered even better!

Metroid Prime Remastered is a classic for a reason, and fans know that. In the days when many games release utterly broken, a game so polished is a miracle in itself. So they know better than to poke holes in this game that developers worked so hard on.

Yet, while playing this game, we cannot help but imagine if some things could have been changed to make this experience even better. Well, there are some, not many, but some.

First of all, fans can be seen complaining about that 3D map. These kinds of maps are the remnants of bygone days. Even the developers of Dead Space decided to fix this issue with their remake. They changed the 3D map into a 2D one.

Metroid Prime Remastered could have gained a lot from this small change. While playing the game, one cannot help but notice that the environments that they explore are mostly covered by the visor in Samus’s helmet. This might have been done for the sake of immersion, but it takes too much screen space. Those Hud elements could have been shifted, so they were not so close to the center of the screen.

One last thing that would have improved this game tenfold is some guidance. But this one is not a very common complaint. Though many newcomers would have had a better time with a more guided experience.

Nevertheless, this game shines through and through. These changes are just some that fans wish were there. Let’s see if Nintendo makes these changes on remasters of the sequels, which are rumored to launch this year.
