The higher the risk, the bigger the reward

If you compare the mechanics with Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005, it’s not your fault. The game follows the same heat level system that the 2005 hit game did. But this time it is much more rewarding and much needed for the game’s story to progress.

According to NFS Unbound’s official website, the game will feature a fictional event called ‘The Grand,” and to enter the event, the players must win races three weeks in a row. But unfortunately, the cars that the player will drive for the first few races are not that fast to make you win, thus they will need upgrades.

The upgrades can be found in safe houses and garages along the way, but you will need loads of cash to make your ride the fastest car in the city. Although, this can be won the slow way by finishing races, but to gain extra money, the player needs to take extra risks.

Cop chases are the best way to get rich in Need for Speed Unbound!

The most efficient way to get rich fast is to go Unbound“. With street races being illegal, the cops are bound to follow you at some point during the race or free roaming. Thus, as they start chasing you, keep out driving them or hiding from them to lose the trail. But if you want to get some extra cash, make them chase you.

The longer the chase, the higher the heat level, and the higher the heat level, the higher will be the reward. Although, the game only features 5 levels of heat, with 1 and 2 having Dodge Charger Patrol cars and AWD Ford Explorers chasing you, level 3 having the Corvette Interceptor, level 4 having the Undercover Camaro, and the pursuit helicopter. And finally, at level 5, Ford F-150 Raptor joins the pursuit helicopter.

Thus, the only way to outrun these cops is not just driving, but hiding as well. After the heat level drops, the player can then choose either to start a pursuit once again or go to their safe houses to store the reward and let some time pass by. The good thing about playing safe is that you can earn money even if you come last in the race, but who needs that? Right?
