Minecraft had been the genre-defining game that fabs can’t get enough of. Thus, it is more exciting when there are some latest updates for the game. This time, however, it is not just an update but an entire game that we are talking about.

Mahjong, in their latest Minecraft Live event, announced the upcoming Minecraft game, Minecraft Legends. A game where the underworld will come to the Overworld, and everyone will unite to defend their beloved land.

Minecraft Legends is all set to release next year

According to Minecraft Live event, the game will be released during the window of Spring 2023. This news has brought some joy in the lives of the fans, as it means that they can now finally have some more lore to the game that had been missing for years now.

Basically, the game is an action strategy game that is meant for the players to play as a hero. Mostly the game will feature a varied amount of creatures roaming in the Overworld that the player can form alliances with to defeat the greedy Piglins.

The hero can also form parties with creepers and other Overworldy creatures that were hostile in vanilla Minecraft. With more materials, a captivating storyline, and better graphics, the game is going to make record-breaking sales for sure.

Minecraft Legends will be released during Spring 2023 and can be played on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game will also feature a four-player co-op storyline that might allow players to select different species as their base characters.

According to Steam, the minimum system requirement for Minecraft Legend is:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 (November 2019 Update or higher), 8 or 7 (64-bit with the latest updates; some functionality not supported on Windows 7 and 8)
  • Processor: Core i5 2.8GHz or equivalent
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 or equivalent DX11 GPU
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 8 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: Performance increases with higher-end systems. Not supported on Windows 10S.
