During the interview, the host asked him multiple questions, but one, in particular, was quite intriguing. When he was asked about his interest in gaming, Mayfield acknowledged it and expressed his infinite affection for a special franchise as well.

Baker revealed that as a die-hard gamer, he used to play Halo a lot “to the point where it was taking away from me doing football, baseball in high school. And my parents weren’t exactly happy about it but I just, I loved it so much.”

Furthermore, he tried to explain the essence of playing video games. For example, in his case, he used to enjoy Halo titles. According to him, they really helped him in improving his reflexes in sports.

Baker Mayfield said that gaming taught him to have better and quick hand-eye coordination “because I played games so much and you know to win like that it helped me out”. It can be interpreted that much of his amazing quarterback skills are due to spending a lot of time in strategizing and using quick thinking in video games.
