Here comes a good news for all Star Wars die-hard fans. After a series of multiple delays over the past few years, finally, the release date of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, has been leaked online by Game Digitals earlier today (UK-based retailer). Game Digital accidentally leaked the release date of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which is supposed to be April 5, 2022 (Tuesday).

However, later on, the popular UK gaming store deleted their Twitter post, which makes it even more suspicious. Moreover, one of the prominent leakers, Tom Henderson, also highlighted this leak via his official Twitter handle.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was first revealed way back in 2019 with a release window of October 2020. After a series of rumors, the game was then pushed out to the next year (2021). However, again it was pushed out from 2021 to early 2022. Now, fortunately for fans, it seems like the game won’t get delayed any further.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is finally on its way?

The gameplay trailer that was dropped during Gamescom 2021 opening night did give away a tantalizing new look at the game along with the series’ trademark humor, not to mention stunning visual looks. Now, when we finally have its release date, we can expect some kind of special gameplay footage or something from Warner Bros to just kick start this release year. After all, it’s been almost 3 years since the revelation.

Well, it seems like finally the release date of the LEGO game is right around the corner. However, that being said, it’s still a leak, and there hasn’t been any kind of official announcement from the developers. With this in mind, Players may have to wait a bit longer to get an official confirmation on the release date.

Maybe they just accidentally revealed the release date, and it’s nearly here, or maybe this is just another marketing strategy to hype up the game in the market. After being pushed out several times, perhaps now it’s time to finally expect a proper announcement from Warner Bros within a few days.
