If Amouranth was ever offered the position of Twitter’s CEO, she has many interesting ideas planned out. In an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, the Twitch queen was seen expressing what she wants to see changed on the social platform.

Without a doubt, Amo is one of the most popular Twitch streamers at the moment. Garnering more than six million followers, she has established herself as a strong force on the streaming front.

“I would run Twitter, but I don’t think I will let people buy checkmarks,” stated Amouranth as she responded to the question during her interview with EssentiallySports.

The introduction of paid checkmarks is an aspect that created a lot of buzz among netizens. Many found it to be absurd and hoards of memes were created and shared mocking the concept. Amouranth does not want to charge people some hefty amount for the checkmarks. And she finds the whole concept of moderation quite complex.

“It is hard to have really good moderation over who gets a checkmark if they are making like a fake account or whatever,” was Amo’s stand regarding the feature.

Additionally, the 29-year-old took a hilarious dig at Elon Musk by saying, “He only hammers down on the Elon Musk fake accounts.” She was subtly indicating the rampant Elon Musk ‘fake’ accounts, which took the limelight after Twitter announced the premium feature.

Twitter needs more inclusiveness, and not a**h***s with opinions

Talking further about the changes she wants to see on the platform, Amo touched upon a sensitive topic. Amouranth wants the space to be more open for women.

“I definitely would consider having it being a little more open to girls as well and not just a**h***s with opinions,” stated the Twitch queen. She elaborated more on the issue of shadow banning, and how people in the adult industry are always vulnerable in such social spaces.

If she was given the power to make some drastic changes to the platform, Amo stated she would likely be making the platform more inclusive for the people in the adult industry.

“I’ll probably make it more inclusive there, even make it kind of like Twitter having 18+ section at the very least. So, at least we are not shadow-banned,” stated Amouranth.

She further added that this particular feature would also have a sensitivity filter. Like, it would ask the user if they want to view the particular content or not, and inform them beforehand if it is adult content.

She admits that having these would subjugate her to tons of criticisms. And at the moment, she doesn’t wish to have that stress on her. But, she affirms the need for the micro-blogging platform to have more inclusiveness, which is lacking at the moment.

Through the course of her career, Amo has managed to stay off the radar of ‘shadow-bans’. But the chances are always in the air, and these aforementioned ideas would work wonders to relieve her fear. This would not only be a relief to the Twitch queen but also will positively affect adult stars who are currently in fear of getting banned from the platform.
