Gambling has become one of the serious issues of the streaming industry as big-time streamers have shifted their focus to it rather than gaming. For instance, household names like Adin Ross, xQc, Trainwreckstv, and more have clocked in countless hours of content for fans.

And well, the community has thoroughly enjoyed it, appreciating these streamers for their big risks. But, this has raised an important question in the community of whether gambling streams should be easily available on Twitch. In fact, it also led to fans questioning Kick, the newly launched platform, as the majority of content creators decided to stick to gambling.

So, to defend this topic, popular Twitch streamer and ASMR queen Amouranth sparred a few statements. In an exclusive interview, she gave a rational answer regarding the topic, saying that it wasn’t that big of an issue if resolved rightly.

What does Amouranth think about gambling on Kick and Twitch?

During an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, Amouranth dived deep into the topic of gambling. She shared her take on whether it has caused problems in the community and laid out answers on how things could change if maintained thoroughly.

Here’s what she said about gambling on Kick: “It has been increasing on Kick because they made the platform so they could have gambling. So, I don’t see a problem with gambling if you’re telling about these harmful effects that gambling can cause. Especially if the audience is of the age to view gambling. Even if you have the stream marked, you can’t only control the kids coming on stream.”

In addition to that, she even gave examples, such as parents being responsible for their children regarding the content that they consume online. So, blaming creators for streaming gambling wasn’t something on her plate. Another example that Amouranth stressed was movies; the R-rated movies, which only allow viewership only above 18. Still, children below that age find their way to the theatres or online sites and consume the content whenever possible.

Looking at this, Amouranth believes that parents should not buy their children hi-tech tablets or phones as it would reduce the risk of them being exposed to such content.

Last but not least, the Twitch queen’s close friend xQc is one of the biggest streamers in this category. And with this explanation on record, it feels like she is in support of him. But then, users have had a fair share of criticism concerning his addiction, so that will always be under speculation!
