Everyone is looking forward to the Electronic Entertainment Expo, simply called E3, this year. Especially because this event is happening in person for the first time since 2019. All eyes are set on what would be revealed at this year’s E3. However, the latest rumors suggest that Konami is going to take all the spotlight with two big reveals.

Konami could reveal New Castlevania and Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake at E3 2023

The VGC podcaster Andy Robinson recently talked about the E3 2023 on his podcast show. He shared his thoughts on many developers and games related to the upcoming gaming event. However, the highlight of the podcast was his talking about the Japanese video game company Konami. He said, “Konami is going to have a pretty big E3 from my understanding.”

Konami is trying to revive many of its old video game series by making remakes with the help of other developers. This began with them releasing the remake of Silent Hill last year. They may have a similar plan for one of their Metal Gear Solid, but they are also working on a new Castlevania game. Both of these Konami products might be revealed at E3.

“There’s a new Castlevania in addition to the Dead Cells DLC they announced at The Game Awards,” The VGC podcaster shared. “And there’s this much-discussed Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, which I also expect them to finally show.”

If Konami is planning to unveil these games at E3, then no one can possibly stop them from stealing the thunder. After all, Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania are among the most famous video game series. Moreover, remaking the MGS3 allows Konami to check the potential of this series, especially after the failure of the 2018-released survival shooter, Metal Gear Survive.
