These policy changes did not include any imminent ban or suspension from the platform. In fact, the accused streamer will only become ineligible to monetize the channel. Gamers found these changes unsatisfactory, as it did nothing to ban cheaters from making use of the platform.
The platform has reached out to an Esport analyst Rod Breslau with an update regarding the prevalent issue of hackers. It seems like Facebook is looking to take more severe steps in order to eradicate this problem once and for all.
Facebook tells me they have fully demonetized and removed from their Level Up program the Call of Duty Warzone cheater that Vikkstar spoke about in his video, along with several other accounts streaming cheats. Facebook says it will be stepping up efforts against streaming cheats

Famous streamer Shroud offered his reaction to Facebook’s latest attempt to counteract the problem.
Sounds like they can still cheat live…. just not make money directly from FB?? Unless I'm misunderstanding.

Journalist Tom Warren offered his reaction on the latest news and he is disappointed with the new policy laws.
Facebook Gaming struggling with Call of Duty: Warzone cheaters. They don’t even get kicked off the platform, just demonetized. Not a good look for Facebook https://t.co/RQwRUfuMR8

Facebook’s best efforts are not living up to its promises, as cheaters continue to abuse the platform.
it's crazy that this guy and others have been not only been able to easily cheat in Warzone without Activision catching them, but they were able to monetize their streaming until now. seems bad all around. would like to see YouTube increase its efforts here too

This is certainly a major red flag that needs to be addressed at the earliest. In order to get rid of such elements completely, the streaming platform should introduce a permanent ban and account suspension. It is safe to think that teams at Facebook Gaming may have also acknowledged the issue and the new update could introduce adequate repercussions.
