But a rising popularity comes with its own set of consequences. Cheaters and hackers have thronged the game since it has gone popular. And to see people cheat in a bean jumping battle royale takes away all the fun.

For a while, MediaTonic was silent about the hackers in the game. This was probably because of the unprecedented hype this game suddenly received. Devs have previously confessed they didn’t expect such a huge response at launch. Therefore, they are a bit slow in resolving issues.

In those scenarios, we have even seen players collectively going against hackers. This game just gives out positive vibes in every way possible;

But the devs have spoken, and cheaters will now be taken care of more efficiently. A couple of days ago they confirmed that manual reporting of cheaters is no longer required.

Cheaters at the moment can finish the game. In the recent future, however, we can expect immediate bans to take place in between games.

Plus MediaTonic reports they have discovered an exploit on Steam. Cheaters are using Family Sharing to evade the anti-cheat.  For this reason, it will be disabled until a fix is found.

With so many positive changes around the anti-cheat, we can expect fairer games in the recent future.
