Starfield no doubt looks like an instant hit, and many fans are looking forward to starting their journey as space travelers in this sci-fi open-world adventure. But, apart from that, something mysterious is cooking in Bethesda and House of Xbox regarding the game Fallout.

Bethesda has more than one trademark title; Starfield is the latest of them. Others are Fallout and Elder Scrolls. With series and live-action movies based on video game franchises becoming more common by the day. It was no surprise that Bethesda too decided to give one of their games a similar treatment.

Yes, currently Bethesda’s focus is on its upcoming magnum opus, Starfield. But this Gamescom 2023 has confirmed that the Fallout TV series is all set to come out in the near future. While the whole gaming industry is waiting for the release of Starfield, the devs have added one more covetable item on their plate.

Writer Jonathan Nolan signed on to lead the production of this title. Amazon picked it up to release on their Prime video streaming service. This series had been a long time coming too; fans could not wait to get a first look at it. Most of them finally got a glimpse at it during Gamescom 2023. Behind closed doors after a Starfield presentation, Bethesda released a teaser for the Fallout series.

The teaser looked pretty epic, with fans getting a look at the character of Walton Goggins. As he shows up, something on-screen attracts his attention, which turns out to be a massive nuclear blast. A Reddit user later leaked this footage over the internet.

For those unaware, Goggins would be playing the role of a ghoul. Those are some kinds of mutants that become disfigured as a result of the nuclear blast that sets the events of this series in motion.

It’s a very promising series given the fact that it stars such a talented actor in the lead role as a ghoul. Over that, the creator has a promising track record, too. Here’s hoping they all do as good a job as the creators of the Last of Us series did.
