On the eve of Halloween, the world celebrated their favorite characters by dressing up as them. The Night of the spooks witnesses many wacky and unique costumes as people dive into the celebrations. Like this fan who took the bar a little higher by cosplaying as Blathers and visiting the American History Museum.

On Reddit, u/justifiedmadness Posted his pictures, visiting the American History Museum. The setting was perfect for the costume. And the costume itself was as accurate to the character as it could have been. The fact that the Redditor himself is an entomologist at the museum makes it even cooler. 

In the post, he said, “Hoot! I say, hoo! I’m an entomologist at the American Museum of Natural History—but today I’m our favorite insect-averse museum curator, eh wot! Happy Halloween :)” Being true to his character. He even carried a small figurine of Blathers in his hands to show the tiny curator the Big museum.

How did the fans react to the costume?

The fans loved the cosplay, and acknowledged how accurate the details were in the dress. And his looks and setting were the perfect compliments for the cosplay. They praised his effort and thanked him for Bringing Blathers to the real world.  

Animal Crossing New Horizon is a social simulator game developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch console. The game features events inspired by real-life occasions and holidays. Currently, it is celebrating Halloween month.
