The Xbox One and Series controllers are some of the most widely appreciated controllers within the gaming community. The haptic feedback in the Xbox Series controllers works phenomenally well when playing on both consoles or on PC. This can be experienced while playing games like Forza Horizon 4, both on PC or on the Series X|S consoles.
However, a Redditor has come up with a concern about the Xbox Controllers. In the subreddit r/gaming, user u/broomaktamer117 sheds light on the uneven structure of the buttons in the controller.

The ‘B’ button appears to be slightly different from the rest of the buttons, meaning the curvature of the controller must have a weird feeling while playing. While many might argue this is something hardly noticeable, other users have agreed with a similar concern in the post. Let us have a closer look at how the other Redditors reacted to this.
Xbox controller’s weird curvature raises concern on Reddit
Redditors in the comments section have come out to explain the logic behind the weird curvature of Xbox controllers. One user u/newaru2 explains the rationale by saying that it was because of the controller’s insides and the PCBs. The reason behind the B button’s weird shape was because of how it contacts the bottom PCB.

Another user explains how these shapes go back even to the Duke Controllers. They explain that the buttons were shaped in that particular way to keep them faced correctly and provide accurate input. The shapes may also be because of the new design and curvature of the Xbox Series controllers.
On the contrary, another user points out that this might be a design flaw from Microsoft, as the controller has bumpers hinging on a cheap plastic body instead of a spring system.
