With the Zelda tune playing in the background, the opening scene for the trailer gave goosebumps to fans as their beloved Zelda game returned after five years to Nintendo Switch. But the hype got even more when the final name of the latest upcoming title was revealed. According to the official trailer, the name of the Legend of Zelda Breath Of the Wild sequel will be “Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.”

While the game will be following the same journey as the 2017 hit game, the release date for the game might look a little farther than the anticipated dates from before. The official release date for the game is revealed to be May 12, 2023.
