On November 02, 2022, CDL Intel reported the news on their official Twitter page. They wrote, “Treyarch have announced Ranked Play in #MW2 is scheduled to arrive in 2023,” they also added that “a “CDL Moshpit” will arrive in Season 01 (November 16th). Cold War League Play and Vanguard Ranked Play are both being retired later this month.”
How did fans react to this announcement?
The fans jumped into the reply section of CDL Intel’s tweet. They expressed their distress about how much they were disappointed by having to wait so long for one of the essential online multiplayer modes of CoD.
Some of the fans were speculating that the mode may come in March 2023 well after the first event. But this is still just speculation, as no official statement has been released yet. So in the end all we can do is wait.
