It’s been a while since the 343 Industries launched the iconic Halo Infinite and fans are absolutely enjoying playing this latest installment of the Halo franchise. The first-person shooter game had a quite good launch, but it has its own share of problems. The fans have been facing some difficulties like match matching issues in big team battle mode, server and technical issues, and many more. The devs have been trying hard to fix these issues by launching updates and patches.

Recently, the devs launched the latest hotfix update in order to fix the in-game’s big team battle matchmaking issues. But this hotfix update didn’t turn out to be as effective as it’s supposed to be as the fans are still facing matchmaking issues. There are some minor improvements, but it’s still not enough. Moreover, 343 Industries’ community director has also addressed the issue on Twitter and has also apologized to the fans for the continued existence of the issue.
Well, damn... today's BTB hotfix does not appear to be the outcome we expected. There are minor improvements, but overall matchmaking issues are still occurring. Thanks to the folks who have been working hard and we're sorry this didn't quite get the job done. Work continues.

On January 20, 2022, the community director at 343 Industries, Brian Jarrard shared a post on Twitter, talking about this ongoing issue on Twitter. Brian shared that the hotfix update for Halo’s big team battle gaming mode didn’t turn out to be the final outcome that the devs had expected.
He also explained that despite some minor improvements, the major matchmaking issues are still there in the game. The director also expressed his gratitude towards all the devs who have been working hard to fix these issues. At last, Brian apologized to the fans and also said that the devs will continue working on the fix.

Halo Infinite latest hotfix update and fans react to it
Apart from improving the big team battle matchmaking issues, the hotfix update also has a lot more to offer the fans. The game has some exciting rewards for all the fans who’ll sign in between the duration of January 19, 2022, and February 16, 2022.
The fans will receive five challenge swaps followed by five double XP boosts, which is just amazing. The best part is the fans just need to launch the game and these rewards will automatically get added to the inventory. Let’s have a look at some of the fan’s reactions to the latest hotfix update:
Btb still not working
Havnt been able to play BTB in over a month, this isn’t a minor problem
Still unable to find connect to match unfortunately, despite updating and restarting the game multiple times. The one time I managed to connect, it blackscreened for 3 minutes and then brought me to the post match lobby.
Since I updated I cant launch the game, keeps saying I dont own this game or I need to be online to play this game or the person who bought this needs to be signed in.
Can you hot fix the lack of co op campaign though
Fix the crashing ever since the new event hit i cant play a whole game without crashing i reinstalled and made sure i dont use high rest textures ive tried everything to fix this and nothing has worked
Sadly there are still problems connecting to BTB. I got the following errors: -Unable to start dedicated server -Lost connection to dedicated server(this one appears right after pressing PLAY button there is no loading map or anything)
Since the update, I have also multiple issues with scoreboards and UI. In and out of matches. Stuff like missing score bar during oddball,etc.
Damn. Hope I don't get any BTB challenges again this week.
Nice hotfix btb still not working
Stop giving us BTB challenges if you cant fix your game. Your BTB challenge is to get the game mode up and running. However, I don't think you'll complete that weekly challenge this week. Overpaid devs who can only develop a broken product.
