Overwatch has some of the most memorable characters in gaming history. Although for the past few years it has not been receiving the same love as it used to back in 2015. But now it seems the introduction of a new ‘playable’ character debuting after three years of its introduction can change the whole course of history for the game.

Not just this, but it is actually getting introduced in the second installment of the game which got released a few weeks ago. Thus making it an even more interesting headline than thought before.

Ramattra is finally getting introduced in Overwatch 2

Introduced in the first Overwatch game as a war machine turned into a Shambli monk, Ramattra has been part of Overwatch lore for the last three years. His story is filled with tragic and traumatic events, thus he is one of the most layered characters to get introduced in the game so far.

The character will be introduced as a tank-class hero and will feature as the leader of the Null sector. It is reported by VGC that it is possible for the character to join the roster on December 6 this year. Notably, the second season of Overwatch 2 also starts on the same day.

Ramattra’s character description reads, “Originally a war machine, Ramattra shed his munitions for a shield to protect his people by promoting peace and tranquility.”

The fact that Overwatch is slowly getting forgotten by fans is not new. Although developers, Blizzard Entertainment, said that the first week of Overwatch 2 after its release saw a great jump in numbers, the glitches and the copy-pasted gameplay of Overwatch surely dropped the numbers afterward.
