What exactly is the Infected mode?

Activision undoubtedly includes enhancements in this most recent season to pamper its players.
The new Modern Warfare Infected mode begins with a countdown that swiftly counts down to an “outbreak,” at which point one player is randomly selected to be the Infected.

Players who have been infected must hunt down other players or spread their illness to other players to participate in this mode. Players who have been infected by survivors will alter. The player who is infected wins the game if all survivors are infected. But if one of them lives until the allotted period, survivors will win the game.

Due to their increased agility and access to knives, infected gamers can cross enormous distances very rapidly. To shoot the infected, however, survivors must go near because they only have conventional weapons, such as the 680 rifle type. Naturally, this becomes increasingly challenging as more players acquire the infection and the odds begin to favor the enemy.
