The Game Of The Year edition is currently priced at $9.99 instead of the regular $49.99 (the complete edition), which means there is an 80% discount deal for the players. The tweet had both PS5 and PS4 logos mentioned, which gives rise to the speculation about Witcher 3’s next-gen version. Fans appeared confused about an upgrade from the previous-gen to the next gen. However, it is widely believed in the community that the upgrade will be free of cost for those who own the game.

As for the next-gen upgrade, CD Projekt Red has promised they will be bringing amazing visual upgrades along with new items to the game. This will be heavily based on the Netflix series and the books on the Witcher and might be released in April or June of early 2022.
