Yesterday’s Operation: Sky Fire live event clung close to its name and showed players what it takes to bring down a massive alien ship. The 10-minute long event had everything from avoiding the patrol guards to getting blasted off from the Mothership.
At last, the season finale event bid farewell to aliens paving the way for Fortnite Season 8. The Sky Fire live event has gotten mixed reviews from players. Some seem to love Epic’s way of introducing new twists; others think otherwise.

Fortnite Operation: Sky Fire Live Event: fans are left in awe
As you might already know, Dr. Slone, who appeared to be on our side from the start, left us to die on the Mothership. The event didn’t reveal where Dr. Slone was and what is her motivation behind this. But it is clear that she’s not our friend. Some fans even made ironic remarks on Twitter. You can check it out below.

Apart from Dr. Slone’s shocking deception, another thing that caught players off guard was the return of Kevin The Cube in the live event. While a lot of leaks and rumors were floating around the web regarding the cube’s return, no one had thought that Epic would introduce players to hundreds of them.
Players also witnessed a one-of-a-kind (probably) Blue Cube during the live event. While the cube is still new Fortnite community has grown attached to it.

The live event ends with the Mothership exploding and everyone and everything descending into the Fortnite island. When it comes to live events, Epic seems to have something unique and fresh for players every time.
As already observed, players see the debris falling, and the ending was left ambiguous with a giant piece of the Mothership falling onto the player. Fortnite fans are in love with the grand conclusion of such an amazing season and have also tweeted out their opinions.
