Dr Disrespect is unhappy with the media linking his game with NFT
Micro-transactions, and now NFTs, have become the new norm of video gaming, which didn’t exist in the past decade. These means to earn more revenue from a title have never been received well by the community and Doc knows it all too well.
Being one of the biggest streamers and gamers, he understands that fans want to get their hands on a good game that won’t make them spend more money on it than the initial cost of buying. He took to Twitter to address the rumors of NFTs and more being added to his game that is yet to be announced.

Twitter users offered a mixed reaction to this rumor, and it looks like NFT is still a controversial topic in gaming. One fan reiterated that he simply wants to play a good game that isn’t clouded by microtransactions and NFTs.
I just want to play a good fucking game. Fuck NFT's, fuck crypto, fuck all that. Give me a fun game to play with good audio. Jesus Christ.

NFTs aren’t welcome in the house of gaming, says this fan, but will Doc comply with the community’s request.
Just no NFTs Doc, if your people are telling you it's a good idea tell them to fuck themselves. Especially with the current state of crypto if you drop an nft project now, RIP!

One fan came to the defense of NFTs and the idea of making money by trading objects in the game.
These comments show that most people still lack a very basic understanding of NFT’s and NFT utility. NFT’s are one of the best things that can possibly happen to multiplayer games. Who wouldn’t want the ability to sell their in game items for real money?
