The month of May saw the arrival of celebrated musical contest Eurovision. Its 67th edition was held a week ago in the United Kingdom and saw the most outstanding performances by talented artists from 37 participating countries. Call of Duty fans mock the devs for focusing on Eurovision instead of improving the gameplay

Sometimes certain tweets can land you in unwanted situations. That’s exactly what happened with Call of Duty’s one of the official accounts on Twitter. The devs handling the UK account of the franchise couldn’t resist their love for music when the Eurovision contest was going on a few days ago. So they posted a tweet showing the iconic character of Ghost playing a guitar, with the caption reading “Anyway, here’s Wonderwall”.

However, this tweet caused certain fans to express a distaste towards the developers. As soon as some individuals saw the image of Ghost with the guitar, they didn’t waste time to mock Call of Duty’s official account.

Some of the fans were annoyed by the fact that instead of focusing more on improving their latest games, the makers were instead taking out time to tweet on Eurovision. According to them, they should have worked on fixing the glitches and issues regarding cheating rather than sharing a picture of Ghost sitting down with a musical instrument. “this tweet caused me severe pain”, wrote one user.
