Fans have mixed feelings for the latest reveal in MLB The Show 22

Firstly, talking about Joe Mauer, then he is the former professional catcher and designated hitter. Interestingly, he was the first baseman to spend his entire 15-year-old MLB career with only one team. And it’s none other than the Minnesota Twins.

Mauer is a six-time All-Star while being the only one in the league’s history to win three batting titles. To his credit, he also won three back-to-back Gold Glove Awards, from 2008 to 2010. Seeing him will be an amazing moment for the players of MLB The Show 22, for sure.

Then there is Justin Morneau, the former professional first baseman. He was also a part of the Minnesota Twins. But he also appeared for other teams as well, such as Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies, and Chicago White Sox.

Meanwhile, the reveal of these two stars in MLB The Show 22, didn’t generate the kind of hype that was expected (at least by the dev team).

Although there were fans who praised the inclusion of Mauer and Morneau, others were somehow disappointed, slightly. Simply because they wanted David Wright, to be one of the two players the makers had teased initially. But, sadly, it didn’t happen.
