The arc of redemption for the FaZe Clan has begun. Well, the spirit of positivity that has been brought to the eSports fanatics in the last few days certainly promises the same. The hardcore fans of FaZe Clan believe the need for remodeling of the team was about time. With the new changes, the team and its community are looking forward to a bright time. Moreover, the world of the organization’s new CEO has only fueled the hopes. 

The popular eSporting brand FaZe Clan has been making some interesting headlines lately. The brand has been a fan favorite for over a decade now. However, the last few years haven’t been pleasant for the organization in terms of performance. In fact, there’s been a solid heat against the team’s marketing strategies by their followers in recent times. But are the glory days coming back? 

Banks has a vision set for the big return of the FaZe Clan

After GameSquare confirmed the acquisition of FaZe Clan, fans were invested in what followed for the brand. The eSports organization was finally getting its much-awaited redemption or was in plans for the least. In a recent interview, the new CEO of the organization, Richard Bengston aka FaZe Banks, gave some interesting insights on what changes to expect. “I’m confident that with Tommy, Apex, and me back in charge of the brand, FaZe Clan will get back to where it was in its peak years,’ stated Richard “FaZe Banks” Bengston, who will take on the CEO role of FaZe Clan after the transaction closes”, he stated. 

Banks highlighted the importance of understanding the influence of the web on the branding of their organization. “We grew up on the internet and understand this brand better than anyone ever could. We are grateful to have found a partner in GameSquare who sees that value in us and can help execute our vision. We’re going to produce first, talk later”, he added.

This new version seems to have been teased even before this big revelation. Apparently, for some fans, the big return already started when the team surprised everyone gaming fans by winning the crown of Halo World Champions for the year 2023. Among a strong pool of participants, the Los Angeles pro claimed the throne in a thrilling final against OpTic Gaming.

According to the new CEO, there are still some days left in the current contract. So, the followers will have to stay patient for a while until Banks takes over. “It’s really important to note; that this deal closes in the next 60-90 days. So my plans for FaZe Clan won’t ultimately come to fruition until the deal is officially done. We’re still at the plotting stage, and excited to have the keys again. Praying these partners are different,” Banks addressing his vision for FaZe Clan wrote to his X account.
