There is a huge catalog of exciting games in this genre like The Elder Scrolls Online, World of Warcraft, and Final Fantasy XIV. But the latter two are the most prominent MMORPGs since their releases.

Both games have been around for over a decade and popularity doesn’t tend to go down. Instead, the number of players keeps increasing each time. There has been a lot of rivalry between both games and recently the Twitch streamer Asmongold was stunned to see the statistics of the number of players raiding in both games.

The report also showed the total number of players who actively played both games is about 101,353,937 logs. According to the stats, Final Fantasy XIV had over 16,888,281 logs while World of Warcraft had over 14,370,949 logs in 2022. It means the Square Enix game had more active players.

These stats surprised the streamer and he said, “So what does this mean? This means that basically, Final Fantasy has had more logs this year than World of Warcraft. What does that mean? That means, that you could make an argument that there is more raiding activity happening in Final Fantasy than in World of Warcraft.”
