Popular games like Elden Ring, Dead Space Remake, Atomic Heart, and a few more seem to have a twist in their ends, but the question is, did you know about it?

For quite some time, game developers have added multiple endings to video games, allowing players to reach the end based on their choices. For instance, every answer led to a different possibility, then affecting the game’s dynamics from time to time. But this concept fared well amongst the community as gamers clocked in more hours searching for the answers.

So today, we have five such games that have stunned us with their alternate endings. And if you are someone who’s had the time to finish them, you would surely wish to restart.

Dead Space Remake

This EA classic first dropped in 2008, storming the gaming markets. Fans always adored this game and demanded another release somewhere in time. So, to keep the promise, developers dropped Dead Space Remake, embarking on a new journey. But this time, its end had a twist, and only the die-hard fans could crack it.

Apparently, the Remake has an alternative ending that stands as the ‘true’ one. It acts as the bridge between the original and the recent release, calling out players to learn about it. For that, they need to collect 12 Marker Fragments during playtime, later placing them in the captain’s quarters. This opens a new world where Issac’s girlfriend is seen talking to him. He claims to build something which is then connected to the beginning of the second part.

Elden Ring

It is no secret that Elden Ring is one of the goofiest games. The title’s six endings push each player to the ultimate limit. But one of them gets on every player’s nerves as it stands as one of the hardest to reach. So, before you start wondering, it is the Frenzied Flame ending.

To get to the end, the player needs to inherit the Frenzied Flame that can only be found in the Cathedral of Forsaken. And that’s where it gets interesting. After all, it stands as one of the few endings where Melina survives, who then appears, in the end, claiming to kill the gamer and deliver what they own.

Atomic Heart

Ever wondered about a game that could possibly combine Bioshock and Far Cry? Well, that’s what Atomic Heart is for you. After almost 16 hours of run time, the game tricks you at a crucial spot, and mind you, be ready to get irked. The title drops two options, one that asks you to walk out of the mission and the other where you need to kill the evil doctor.

So, if you decide to walk away, it feels like the entire run time was nothing but a waste. Beware when you play this one!

Sons Of The Forest

Unlike Elden Ring, this game only has one alternate ending and is quite easy to crack. After all, there are only two allies that help you in the game, Kelvin and Virgina. However, Virginia remains the shadow hero of this story, as players need to stay in her good books throughout. It is only her that can take you to the alternate ending, the one where you don’t become a maniac, just as the rest of the infected world.

The Pizza Tower

This Mario-type game has one of the most bizarre endings, as the protagonist seems sad after the end. Players need to collect all 19 treasures, else, he sits in a corner – face down. But what makes it strange is the real reason behind it. Apparently, Pepino Spaghetti, the hero, is disappointed over killing Pillar John, the antagonist of the title.

So, if you want to put a smile on Pepino’s face, all you need to do is find the janitor and guide him to his room. Because only then, Pillar John would appear at the alternate end and bash you to death.
