In his recent podcast with Flagrant, MrBeast almost got teary-eyed as he revealed the first time he felt the happiness of helping someone. In an incident from the early years of his YouTube career, Jimmy Donaldson gave a pizza delivery man $10,000.

Although the delivery man didn’t say anything at that time he returned to MrBeast the next day. At this, Jimmy thought that the man returned to ask for some extra money, but instead, he was surprised to see that he started crying and hugging MrBeast out of gratitude.

How did MrBeast crack the YouTube secret?
Explaining the situation in a documentary by Curiosity Stream, Donaldson said, “So I had this idea if I take this branded money and I give it away in the video, that video will do well. And then I take the money from that video and I give it away in the next video and that video will do well, and kind of like create this cycle.”

He also said that the experience made him realize his purpose and also gave him the ultimate idea of how he can break the code of YouTube. He said, “And I was just like freaking out. I was like, I think I just cracked the code.”
