Following Elden Ring Success, Director Gives Encouraging Update on FromSoftware’s Future

FromSoftware is enjoying a lot of success this year with the release of their latest game, Elden Ring. But it seems the devs are working on another game, and it’s near completion.

The Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki recently, in an interview with a Japanese site 4Gamer, revealed their upcoming game project. Moreover, it is in the final stages of development. So, we can expect a game reveal in the near future.
Miyazaki said, “Yes, it is. We are in the final stages of development.” This is the response to one of his 2018 comments, where he revealed that FormSoftware is busy working on many game titles.
The Japanese game director then said, “There are 3.5 lines that have been in the works since that time. 0.5 is Déraciné, 1.0 is Sekiro, and the remaining 2.0 are unannounced titles.”

Now we know that one of the remaining 2.0 is the 2022 game Elden Ring. So, the Japanese video game company is currently working on their last 1.0 of the 3.5 lines.
What could be the next project after Elden Ring?
Fans are wondering what the next from the Japanese game company could be after the 2022 action RPG Elden Rings. So, there are rumors that the next game in the line could be a possible Armored Core sequel.
Moreover, the hype around an Armored Core sequel is thanks to the FromSoftware hosting survey from their customers earlier about a new Armored Core game. Also, those leaked some screenshots and videos from a new Armored Core game. However, that leak is now not available to confirm this.
However, if the leak is believed to be true, then it might be the project Miyazaki is talking about, which is in its final development. If this is the case, an Armored Core 6 reveal is not too far. Further, it’s been over a decade since the release of the last Armored Core game.
After two medieval setting games, it might be great to play a sci-fi game set in the far future. Miyazaki has always done phenomenal work with this TPS Mecha game. Undoubtedly, the possible Armored Core 6 would be a great addition to the series.
