A potential Crash Bandicoot adaptation teased by its developers

Crash Bandicoot is a video game series that has indulged fans for over a decade. Created by Naughty Dog, the game is now being developed by Toys for Bob. In a recent Toys for Bob Tweet, the studio showed fans a trailer to Crash Team Rumble. Crash Team Rumble is an upcoming 4v4 team-based competition with characters from the Crash universe.

But what caught the attention of many fans was the handle asking for Crash’s theatrical debut. The studio reached out to Sony Pictures Animation, pitching them to make a Crash Bandicoot movie. They commented on the success of the Super Mario Bros. movie, stating it is time to make their own.

User @HeavenlyTape has already started assuming who will play the role of Crash. He wanted Nolan North, the voice of Nathan Drake from Uncharted, to voice act for Crash. He also stated he is willing to settle for Brad Pitt too.

Although Toys for Bob reached out to Sony in the Tweet, many fans are skeptical if they will respond. Many are suggesting Crash Bandicoot developers try asking Microsoft. This is because Microsoft will soon be acquiring Activision, the parent company of Toys for Bob.
