The news of the Brazilian legend passing away at 82 sent shivers through the community. YouTuber IShowSpeed stands as one of the most avid fans of the sport who also regards Portugal player Cristiano Ronaldo as his idol. Nevertheless, Pelé was the face of soccer who turned the sport into a celebration of competitiveness and mutual growth and the YouTuber took no time to give his regards.

IShowSpeed tweeted, “rip to the godfather of football.” Furthermore, KSI tweeted, “RIP pele ❤️.” Bateson86, who is a renowned FIFA streamer on Twitch also sent his acknowledgements. He said, “RIP Pelé. The pioneer and the king!” While bidding his thanks to the Brazilian legend, Deji tweeted, “Thank you Pele for everything you’ve done on and off the field. Rest in peace. My condolences to family and friends 🙏🏾”

Sergio Aguero, who is also the CEO of KRU Esports tweeted, “Descansa en paz #leyenda #pelé,” which means “Rest in Peace.” Manchester City player Erling Haaland also joined the group. He tweeted, “Everything you see any player doing, Pelé did it first. RIP ⚽️🤴🏿.”
