The company was trying to maintain its profit margin, but the current stock conditions were forming a barrier in front of them.

Coupled with that dilemma, there is also an internal conflict going on between its veteran members and organizational leads. Rain, who has been vocal about the whole issue recently, was found pointing fingers at Nickmercs, and his remuneration. It seems that Rain is not done with these allegations and continues to talk about FaZe Clan and its decisions regarding members like Nick.

FaZe Clan veteran Rain continues his dig on Nickmercs

Recently the netizens witnessed FaZe Rain posting a series of Instagram stories through which he was pointing at some angles which he thinks are negative for the clan. Rain, who has been part of the organization for a long time, is not very much fond of its CEO’s decisions. After critiquing the ‘incompetent’ staff, Rain now is focusing on the signing of celebrity streamers. Among these, Nickmercs is his primary target.

According to Rain, Nickmercs is receiving $1 million a year, which he thinks is absurd pay. He states that other OG members may as well receive a similar remuneration, but that is relative. He states that even if the FaZe Clan fails to pay people like Rug and him, the org knows they won’t leave the clan, as they love FaZe. But if they miss a paycheck to Nick, he would likely leave it then and there.

He then went on to talk about the recruitment style that the Clan has been following for a while. Rain alleged that Nickmercs gets paid for each talent that he brings in. Moreover, the organizational heads stated to the OG members that they would be trying new ‘celebratory’ recruits in the clan.

” I am so against these celebrity recruits,” stated Rain. He thinks that roping in talents who identify with the FaZe brotherhood will be beneficial for the clan. Thus, singing major talents who are just there for the starry spotlight would pull down the clan.

Then he went back to their biggest signing, Nickmercs. “I am sure there are tons of Nickmercs moments for you guys, but memorable FaZe Nickmercs, not really. You can’t tell me that,” stated Rain.

He finally ended up saying that the public perception of Rain and other OG members being the decision-makers is wrong. Apparently, it’s the CEO and the top-level staff of the organization who are calling the shots.

Rain thinks that until they realize the actual problems at hand, FaZe Clan would have a difficult time recuperating.
