After the success of the Mario movie, Nintendo is also reportedly budgeting for another live-action film surprising its fans. Not only that but this movie will be based on the lore of The Legend of Zelda franchise after much anticipation. While Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto will take an important role in bringing the film to the audience, fans are curious to know who will play the part of Link!

Not just Miyamoto, but this live-action film will be co-produced by Marvel’s former founder as well. Since this news was publicly announced, fans have a high hope of seeing another fabulous video game narrative as a big-screen project. However, what still strikes them is Link’s character in the movie! Now looking at the crucial role Link plays in saving the princess, the curiosity and excitement are truly justified.

Who will play the character of Link in the live-action Zelda movie?

Recently Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) that he alongside Arad Productions’ chairman Avi Arad have been working on a live-action film for years. He mentioned that, “We have now officially started the development of the film with Nintendo itself heavily involved in the production. It will take time until its completion, but I hope you look forward to seeing it.” 

What adds to the element of intrigue even more is that the movie will be directed by Wes Ball, the same artist who directed Maze Runner. However, the story line and the characters have still not be unveiled by the unit yet. Most probably the salient characters like Link, Zelda, Ganon, and others will have their elemental touch attached to them.
