Former NFL Athlete From Miami Dolphins to Appear in EA’s Dead Space Remake in 2023

Ever since its official announcement, the awaited remake of the original Dead Space has managed to create a lot of buzz. The project is set to finally make its debut early next year, coming from Electronic Arts.

While the Motive Studios’ title is already making headlines, Dead Space Remake’s team recently revealed the entire voice cast members who will appear in the upcoming video game. Interestingly, the title also features a former NFL player from Miami Dolphins!

Former NFL athlete Anthony Alabi to play a key role in Dead Space Remake

The official Twitter account of the game recently shared a tweet, while revealing the main voice actors. To begin with, Tanya Clarke returns as Senior Medical Officer Nicole Brennan. She played this role in the first two installments as well.

Furthermore, Brigitte Kali Canales will also appear in the title as computer specialist Kendra Daniels. The actress is best known for her work in Fear the Walking Dead and Star Wars: Clone Wars. Star Trek’s Captain Robau fame Faran Tahir is also there. He plays the role of USG Ishimura scientist Challus Mercer.

Interestingly, former NFL athlete Anthony Alabi will also appear in the Dead Space Remake. The sportsperson-turned-actor will play a key role of Chief Security Officer Zach Hammond.

In case anyone is not aware of him, Anthony Alabi used to play for NFL team Miami Dolphins in the past. Before becoming an actor, he was a part of the football team as an offensive tackle. He was initially drafted by Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the league in the year 2005. Moreover, he’s also been a member of Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Since 2010, Anthony Alabi has been focusing on his acting career, while earning a name for himself. His most recent role was in the popular Netflix series called Family Reunion. Before that, he was also a part of the famous show titled Shameless.

As for the protagonist, Dead Space Remake’s Isaac Clarke will be voiced by Gunner Wright. Yes, he will make his comeback once again, but this time his character will speak!

EA and Motive Studios’ video game comes out on January 27th, 2023 worldwide. It will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
