It’s a good time to be an Anime fan. The popular Japanese Manga series Jujutsu Kaisen will cross over with Fortnite. The cursed energy of Jujutsu Kaisen will now feature in a fan-favorite title. This presents players with the unique opportunity to experience the world and wield the energy. Exciting? Well, it’s only the beginning.

This isn’t the first time Fortnite will be crossing over with an anime series; it’s just the latest. Fans have been treated in the past with characters from Naruto, Dragon Ball, and My Hero Academia. Jujutsu Kaisen is the latest addition to the list. Fans are eager to know which characters will appear, how they’ll interact, in what context, and so on.

Everything we know about the Fortnite update

In Jujutsu Kaisen, cursed spirits comprise an entire race formed by the manifestation of negative human emotions. In Fortnite, players will encounter cursed Llamas. Players will have to break these to learn cursed techniques.

One such technique is the Straw Doll technique, which is essentially a swift hammer combo that will allow players to shoot nails filled with cursed energy. Ouch! On the other hand, “Purple” can erase buildings in its path and deal damage over time.

In-game rewards can also be earned using cursed energy. For this, players need to take part in Break the Curse! Quests. Players who want to experience it all faster than others can unlock rewards by paying a premium fee. The premium awards can be unlocked for 1000 V-bucks.

By doing so, users will get extra “premium” awards along with free rewards, a feature seen in many games. The final reward is especially enticing; Yuji Itadori’s Jujutsu High Uniform. Speaking of outfits, Yuji will be joined by Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo.

While the Grade 4 quests have begun, players will be able to access Grade 3 quests on August 10 at 9 AM ET. Then Grade 2 Quests will follow on August 15 at 9 AM ET. And finally, Grade 1 Quests and Special Grade Quests will be available on August 17 at 9 AM ET. With the Jujutsu Kaisen crossover finally here, fans can be on the lookout for what’s next. Chapter 4 Season 3 ends on August 25th.
