This happens especially when both games are from the same category or genre. Like the ongoing Valorant CSGO debate about which is the better FPS game. Similar to this is the debate surrounding Epic Games’ Fortnite and Activision’s Call of Duty Warzone. On this topic TimTheTatman, an American streamer shed some insightful thoughts.

Fortnite ruined gaming

In his recent stream, Timothy John Betar a.k. a TimTheTatman pointed out how Fortnite performs compared to his favorite game Warzone. According to the streamer, Fortnite has created a forte of expectations that other games are failing to meet.

Fortnite is one of the most celebrated games right now. Epic Games does almost everything to make their brainchild, battle royale game, stand out. They do these through interesting and suspenseful storylines and massive collaborations.

Epic Games are constantly aware of its player base’s eco-system and manages to cater to the changing trends in it. According to Tim, that is something that Warzone lacks. Epic Games actually listens to their player base. Whereas, Activision is negligent towards the emotion of the players.

The streamer further pointed out that Activision is oriented more toward the profit side. He thinks even though they are succeeding in garnering massive profits from their titles; it is not just enough to make the game better. Especially in regard to increasing the game’s popularity.

Tim pulled out google analytics to justify what he said. He pointed out the massive popularity Fortnite enjoys compared to Call of Duty. Furthermore, Fortnite even had more searches on the month Warzone 2 got released! This speaks volumes of how both the developers contribute towards building popularity for their games.

Epic Games are more considerate

The American streamer prefers Warzone over Fortnite, as it is his favorite game. But, the fact that his beloved game is not putting effort compared to Fortnite is disturbing Tim. He was seen requesting Activision to make an effort and listen to its player base. He furthermore says, they don’t need to be like Fortnite but just need to make Warzone more active.

During this stream, he also compared Fortnite to Apex Legends. This was when his chat was pointing out that the latter was a unique game. Tim straightaway pointed out Apex was ‘trash’ as he had seen the game’s community itself calling the game under-par.
