Dreamhack recently concluded its Online Open tournament for Fortnite. They conducted the finals for the North American-East region yesterday with 100 players competing against each other in a series of six matches. Dreamhack held all the matches back to back. However, they gave a gap of 40 minutes in between matches so that players could rest. The total prize pool of the tournament was 250,000 USD. However, Dreamhack will divide the amount between all the regions as well as the top 3 players.

The Fortnite tournament was solo mode only and the first place winner is going to receive a cash prize of $10,000. Each elimination in the games was worth 5 points while a ‘Victory Royale’ was worth 60 points.
