Fortnite is taking things back to the start by introducing the upcoming Chapter 1 update. Epic has been uploading teasers for the new chapter all over social media and YouTube. The teasers were put together to give fans a better idea of what they can expect from Chapter 1. Although Fortnite is on Season 4 Chapter 5 now, the name Chapter 1 might sound confusing. While showcasing the trailer for the update, fans got to hear something that gave them goosebumps. A Juice WRLD track.

For the trailer of Chapter 1, Epic Games revived an old collaboration to give a soundtrack for the video. Juice WRLD has had a prior collaboration with the game and also has his own skin. Although the artist is not with us anymore, Fortnite made the collaboration to celebrate the artist along with the Chapter 1 update.

Epic Games recently uploaded the trailer for the upcoming Chapter 1. In the trailer, not only did fans get to see some nostalgic scenes from the game, but also some new ones. The one thing that stood out the most was the fact that they used the song Lucid Dreams by Juice WRLD as the soundtrack. This had many fans of the artist excited, emotional, and nostalgic making it a trailer that fans will not stop talking about, any time soon.

Along with the many features coming to the game, the usage of JuiceWRLD’s song has ignited a trip for many players, down memory lane. As the theme of the update is OG Fortnite, fans will get to see many features that were a part of Season 1 in the game.

Fortnite’s previous collaboration with JuiceWRLD

Back when Fortnite was on its Season 2 Chapter 3, Epic Games announced a collaboration between the artist and the game. The artist made an entry into the game as a skin which had many fans excited to see their favorite music in the game after his demise.

Back then, many news outlets covered this news, and a video of JuiceWRLD’s manager going to meet with Epic started to go viral. From that video, fans got to see how even after the artist has passed away, they still continue to be relevant through fans, friends, and family.
