Rather, the Mike Lowrey Fortnite skin is available in the Fortnite item shop. This means that it can be purchased by anyone and everyone. Those who want to grab the Mike Lowrey Fortnite skin will need to shell out 1,500 V-Bucks. Mike Lowery isn’t alone and comes with his own Detective’s Duffle Back Bling and a Loose Cannon Cutters Pickaxe. However, these aren’t for free. The Loose Cannon Cutters are sold separately for an additional 500 V-Bucks.

While the Mike Lowrey Fortnite skin looks sharp and is well implemented, a handful of players think it’s an unbefitting add-on. In the midst of an alien invasion, Fortnite Season 7 calls for Captain Steven Hiller (Will Smith’s character from the 1996 film Independence Day).

All things considered, the Mike Lowrey collaboration justifies the 1,500 V-Bucks price tag, which is a good thing. With Fortnite Season 8 lurking around the corner, it would be interesting to see what other things Epic has in store.
