The final update of Fortnite Season 7 v17.50 will be out next week, and as leaks suggest, it has an array of surprises for us!
The new season is supposedly about to bring Will Smith, Naruto, Stranger Things, and Marvel collaborations with the game.

However, based on fresh sources of leaks, another end-of-season Live Event seems to be lined up. The leaker who dumped this leak on the FortniteLeaks subreddit was apparently correct in predicting the Ariana Grande Concert.
Let us have a look at what we know so far about the new event.
What is the Skyfire event?
An anonymous leaker on the FortniteLeaks subreddit mentioned another live event scheduled to take place at the end of the season.
The above leak states, “Something codenamed ‘Skyfire’ will start counting down 9/3”.
What we learn so far is the alleged “Skyfire” event might refer to a hovering Mothership that is predicted to explode up and shower down like hellfire on the island. Doctor Slone’s leadership is expected to bring the Mothership down.

The airplane is expected to be blown up, and the burning debris might fall from the sky. This might explain the rationale behind the codename “Skyfire.”

Furthermore, according to leakers, Misty Meadows may be the POI where the Mothership crashes at the end of the event.
Skyfire event schedule in Fortnite Season 7
The anonymous Redditor has speculated that the start date of this live event would bring Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 to its closure.

As leaks suggest, the countdown for the live event would begin on September 3, with the climax expected around September 12, which is also the Season 7 conclusion date.
An alternate dimension called the “Sideways” mechanic is also on the way. The inspiration for this dimension is from the popular Netflix show Stranger Things.
