Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8: Everything You Need to Know Ahead of the Operation Skyfire Live Event

The season-ending Operation: Sky Fire event will pave the way for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8. While there are still a lot of things to uncover, players are already looking ahead. The current season theme revolved around aliens storming the island and taking over.
With the alien invasion coming to an end with the Operation: Sky Fire event, both Epic and players are looking forward to the new season.

Numerous leaks and rumors surrounding Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 have surfaced and it can be hard to keep count.

Epic’s attempt to keep things a secret has never worked out in its favor. Recently enough CandywingX a streamer on Twitch spilled some beans regarding Season 8. A couple of days ago, CandywingX met and spoke with Donald Mustard, chief creative officer for Epic Games and Fortnite. And soon enough, in one of his streams, he revealed that Naruto will be coming to Fortnite Season 8.

He claims that Donald Mustard himself has confirmed the same. Up until this point, we just had leaks, but this confirms that Naruto is coming to Season 8.

While we don’t know much about Fortnite Season 8 theme but if leaks are to be believed, we might get to see desert biomes. As per HYPEX, a notable leaker, a desert loading screen has been added to the game files, along with some props known as “Desert Cactus”. The leaker further hinted that players might even witness Mad Max collaborate or reference, which totally lines up with the desert theme.

For Fortnite Season 8, Epic is also working on adding flying animals to the game. According to HYPEX, these flying creatures will come in two sizes, big and small. Players will be able to shoot or kill them. HYPEX also mentions that killing the small ones will reward players with 1-3 meat, while killing the big ones will compensate them with Purple Scar or Purple SMG.

Players might also see massive overhauls to Fortnite Creative in Season 8. It seems like Epic is working on Fortnite Creative 2.0, also called the Valkyrie. The new creative update will offer players a ton of customization options.

Other than all of this, players can also expect the return of Kevin the Cube as well as The Foundation. However, not much is known regarding this yet.
